The great oil of the Mattanza lives, in parallel to the rituals evoked during Gianbecchina's creative arc that have privileged the celebration of the land.
Now the wild beauty and experience of sea life is sung.

Here the man, no longer a farmer but a fisherman, bears on the skin of his face that writing of time, as Gianbecchina recites in one of his works, dissolved in a cinematic context of broad suggestion.

A high anthropological value vibrates and regenerates in the Mattanza, not so much experienced as a quotation, but as a participation in and denunciation of that loss of the practice of Mattanza, due to the closure of the Tonnare.
